GoodPickle.com

"Goodpickle is a place where Businesses, Charity Organizations, and Individuals can accumulate compliments and testimonials from the people who enjoy what it is they offer. Goodpickle offers its users the ability to find praise or leave praise on the products or organizations they enjoy. Goodpickle is not a complaint site. Goodpickle offers another point of view."

As a developer for GoodPickle.com I coded many front and back-end features. Some of these include a custom social network sign-in module, integration with Authorize.net, an API for developers, an HTML 5 canvas to accept user signatures, and functionality for users to edit uploaded images.

The Ugly Floor Contest

The Ugly Floor Contest is a website where people can upload a photo of their floor for a chance to win a new one. The winner is the person who gets the most votes on their picture. Visitors to the site can browse through and vote for their favorite floors, as well as leave comments for each other.

For The Ugly Floor contest I coded css and page layout, a voting system, and put in place various methods of preventing duplicate votes.

SMARTCarpet.com

SMARTCarpet.com is the company website for SMART Carpet and Flooring. Customers can browse the site to learn about the company and the products they offer, as well as book appointments for in-home flooring estimates.

My role as a developer on SMARTCarpet.com included coding the layout of several of the pages, as well as building the jQuery image slider featured on the home page and product pages. In addition, I coded a php script to interact with Authorize.net, allowing customers to pay their balances securely online.
